In the Himalayas of eastern Nepal, Island peak has become the most singled after & preferred trekking/climbing destination majorly because of its demanding geological situations. With an elevated height of 6,189m Island Peak, also known as Imja Tse shall easily carry out the dream of every climber as it tends to present climbers with a perilous and stimulating climbing experience in an ascent to the summit of the Island Peak with chance to experience the Everest region’s marvelous panorama, history and its distinctive traditional custom values.

After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you shall have a cultural sightseeing tour of the UNESCO World Heritage sites inside the valley the following day and we shall also do some trekking and climbing preparations as well. Primarily at the start of our journey, we shall board a picturesque domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla offering grandiose views of high mountains of the Himalayan region of Nepal. After arriving at Lukla we shall start trekking towards Phakding. Passing along the naturally beautiful forest background we shall cross several suspension bridges multiple times through Dudh Koshi River, we shall as a final point reach at Namche Bazaar. Additionally, in next couple of days, we shall move onwards to Chhukung via Tengboche & Dingboche. This can be a great Eco-destination in this area as it is famous for its exotic Himalayan wildlife of Snow Leopard, colorful Pheasants, mountain Goats, Red Panda and musk Deer. The climb to Island Peak starts from the base camp, followed by the high camp and then the summit. In general anyone who summits the Island peak gets rewarded with one of the best panoramic vistas in the world as you get to witness the grand Himalaya views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Makalu & so on. This thrilling yet enjoyable and audacious trekking offers climbers & trekkers with the opportunity to observe exceptional panoramic up close views of the Everest Himalayan ranges. Descending with a sagacity of accomplishment & triumph, we shall take on a route going through numerous cultural sites, such as Pangboche, a conventional Sherpa village with sumptuously festooned Tibetan monasteries towards to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa Capital and cultural center of Khumbu. From here onwards we shall descend down to Lukla for our flight back to Kathmandu and officially end our climbing trek to Island Peak.

Our 14 days Island Peak Climbing doesn’t need climbers to have previous climbing knowledge however you must be in good physical shape with basic climbing skills. Our proficiently planned itinerary put forwards you with good amount of time to get acclimatized before your major ascend of peak. Generally we recommend March - May & August – October as the best season to do this Peak Climbing. Itinerary Overview

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) then trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft): 40 min flight, 3-4 hours trek

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft): 5-6 hours

Day 04: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) 5- 6 hours

Day 05: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 5-6 hours

Day 06: Dingboche to Chhukung (4,730m/15,518ft): 3-4 hours

Day 07: Chhukung to Island Peak Base camp (5,200m/17,060ft): 3-4 hours

Day 08: Pre-Climb Training on Island Peak Base Camp

Day 09: Island Peak Base Camp to Summit and back to Base Camp (5,600m/18,372ft) 10-12 hours

Day 10: Island Peak Base Camp to Pangboche (3,985m/13,074ft) 5-6 hours

Day 11: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar: 4-5 hours

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla: 6-7 hours

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu

Day 14: Final Departure
