A trekking destination close to Kathmandu, this trek trail wanders through culturally rich villages dominated by Tamang, Sherpa and other communities, encounters ups and downs of trail yet maintaining a low elevation. We begin our short trekking experience in this valley of rich natural, cultural and geographical heritages with a drive to Sundarijal to the north-east corner of Kathmandu valley for the start of our trekking experience after the city tour of architectural and cultural heritages in Kathmandu. The trail, beginning from the west of Sundarijal, climbs along the stone steps onto the Shivapuri ridges while continuing uphill and through the Shivapuri National Park before reaching the settlement in Chisopani. Moving forward along the trail of Helambu Trek, we pass through the Kutumsang, Thadepati and Tarkeghyang villages. We take on the footpath through Sermathang village before we reach the Melamchi Pul Bazzar in the Helambu region. Intermittently, we shall witness marvelous views of snowcapped peaks such as Jugal Himal, Gauri Shankar, Gosaikunda, Numbur Peak besides the dominating Langtang Lirung Peak, rural settlements, traditional lifestyle and culture of Tamang community, and grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild premolars. From there we drive back to Kathmandu to mark the end of our trip. In the trip, we pass through the wet sub-tropical forest to the oak forest, scattered Tamang villages, watershed, research areas, rice terraces and impressive Buddhist monasteries.

Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu

Upon your landing in the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, a delegate of Adventure Master Treks and Expedition shall be waiting for you at the airport terminal. Subsequent to being welcomed and invited, you should be escorted to a private vehicle for a drive to your respective hotel for your stay in the Kathmandu valley. Day 02:Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Day 03:Drive to Syabru Besi

Day 05:Trek to the Langtang village

Day 07:Acclimatizatin Day at Kyanjin Gompa

Day 10:Trek to Chandanbari

Day 11:Trek to Gosainkunda

Day 12:Trek to Ghopte

Day 16:Trek to Melamchi Pul Bazaar

Day 17: Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Kathmandu

Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to you respective hotel where you can take put your feet and just relax. Day 18:Final Departure

Today marks the end of our 18 days HelambuTrekking and so a representative of Adventure Master Treks & Expedition shall transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
