Practice hygienic habits:
To stay healthy, practicing hygienic habits like hand washing before meals, personal cleanliness, sanitation, etc is of utmost importance. It is the most effective way to protect you against stomach upset and other diseases.
Food and Drinking:
Avoid drinking tap water directly. You should only drink bottled, boiled or sterilized water. Fake bottles of water are also being sold in Nepal, which do not stand up to the standards. So, only buy the bottle if the seal is not broken. Unpasteurized milk should be boiled. Vegetables and meat should be well cleaned and cooked. Do not eat hot and very spicy food as it can cause stomach upset.
Although Nepal has no official vaccination requirement for entry, it is recommended that you protect yourself from serious diseases like Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Meningitis, etc with vaccination. Better to think about this about a couple of months before your departure.

>> While traveling in scorching sun, use sunglasses and UV lotions and keep your body well hydrated by drinking enough water.
>> Bring important medicines you require with you. You can find in the drugstores of Nepal too but they may have different name here and come with different level of dosage.
