Dhaulagiri adventure trek is listed as one of the most difficult treks in Nepal. In literary sense, Dhaulagiri means White Mountain. Dhaulagiri I, the highest peak in the region, is ranked seventh among world’s 14 highest mountains. This is a strenuous trek, through high alpine pastures, higher passes and serene and uninhabited valleys. Everyone is familiar with the name Dhaulagiri which is in the western part of Nepal, probably the best spot for remote and adventurous trekking in Nepal. Places are available to those with previous trekking experience over 5,000m.

Our Dhaulagiri Trek is an exhilarating and adventurous circuit journey of the worlds 7th highest mountain, Dhaulagiri; 8167 m/26,795 f stand its massif which includes several soaring 7000 m peaks. Under normal conditions the standard route follows moderate snow slopes to the summit and can be attempted by those with ice axe and crampon experience. The journey to begin our trek starts with a picturesque drive from Pokhara to Beni at the junction of two Himalayan rivers. From here, we climb to the rural village of Dharapani, and get a great view of the mountains to come. Starting from Beni, you must cross uneven terrains of Kaski region of western Nepal. The trail leads of Italian Base Camp 3,660 m (12,005 ft), supposedly the base camp to the 1st Italian expedition. From here, you can trek directly to Dhaulagiri Base Camp, followed by the hardest pass in the region, French Col. Pass. The trip around Dhaulagiri gets you off the beaten track and is ideal for those looking for an exciting trek through remote highlands. The route passes through rugged terrain with astonishing natural beauty that very few visitors have ever witnessed. The scenery is unforgettable and the challenging trek crosses several mountain passes, including French pass 5360 m/17,585ft, the highest point of the journey. The trail passes through scenic villages surrounded by fields as we ascend to Italian Base Camp, west of Dhaulagiri. The scenery simply gets more and more mesmerizing as we continue higher and higher. The main attractions of this trek are the constant, up-close mountain views, and stunning highland terrain of forests and glaciers. Of course, the beautiful culture and hospitality of the residents is Nepal’s claim to fame. Along the way, the trek passes many waterfalls and scenic rivers and through the worlds deepest gorges long the Kali Gandaki River. The first section of the journey begins along the newly launched Guerrilla Trek and the final section is along the Annapurna Circuit with a famous hot springs near the end to rejuvenate from the long days of challenging hiking.

Day 03 - Pokhara to Beni (850m) by bus - 8 hrs

Day 04 - Beni to Babiyachour (950m) - 5 hrs

Day 05 - Babiyachour to Dharapani (1,400m) 6 hrs

Day 06 - Dharapani to Muri (1,850m) - 5 hrs

Day 07 - Muri to Boghara (2,080m) - 6 hrs

Day 08 - Boghara to Dobang (2,520m) - 5 hrs

Day 09 - Dobang to Choriban Khola (3,110m) - 5 hrs

Day 10 - Choriban Khola to Italian Base Camp (3,660m) - 7 hrs

Day 11 - Rest day.

Day 12 - Trek to Glacier Camp (4,210m) - 6 hrs

Day 13 - Glacier Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,740m) - 7 hrs

Day 14 - Rest day

Day 15 - Cross the French Pass (5,360m), then trek to the Hidden Valley (5,200m) - 6 hrs

Day 16 - Cross Dhampus Pass (5,200m), and trek to Yak Kharka (3,680m) - 6 hrs

Day 17 - Trek to Jomsom (2,710m) - 5 hrs

Day 18 - Morning flight to Pokhara - 30 mins. Sightseeing around Pokhara

Day 19 - Drive to Kathmandu by tourists bus (1,345m)

Day 20 - Final departure


Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport You will be met by our airport representative and transferred to the hotel by our private tourist vehicle. During this time we will brief you about the trip.

Day 02:Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation

Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, itself offers a wide range of unique historical, natural and cultural sites. we start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. The sites include the World heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square one of the most important historical structures, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (BouddhaNath). During this trek, our tour guide will brief you about the historical places, culture and religion.

Day 03:Drive to Beni

After having breakfast we drive to Beni which takes 8 hours to reach. Overnight at camp.

Day 04:Trek to Babiachor

We will start our trek to Babiachor through a bridge via Simalchour village. Overnight at Babiachor

Day 05:Trek to Muri

The trial climb steeply to Muri through Crossing the Dhara Khola to reach the west bank of Myagdi Khola and then climb to get beautiful village of Muri. Overnight at camp.

Day 06:Trek to Boghara

From Muri we will continue out trek to Boghara through Myagdi river Via Naura Village. Overnight at camp.

Day 07:Trek to Doban

The trail continues through a forest to Lapche Kharka via jyardanand then climbs to the level area at Doban. Overnight at camp.

Day 08:Trek to Italy base Camp

The trail leads to Chhonbarban Glacier and from the right side of the glacier we will be able to see the view of Dhaulagiri and after a short walk you will reach Italian Base Camp for overnight stay.

Day 09:

Day 10:Acclimatization day at Italian Base Camp

we will spent this day to acclimatize at Italy Base Camp.

Day 11:Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp

This day will be exciting at the same time difficult for us. From the base camp we trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp.

Day 12:Trek to Yak Kharka

Descend from the hidden valley to the Dhampus Pass and continue to Yak Kharka. Overnight at Kharka.

Day 13:Trek to Jomsom

We decend to the Marpha via Kali Gandaki river to get Jomsom. Overnight at Jomsom.

Day 14:Fly to Pokhara

we take morning flight to Pokhara from Jomsom. We will enjoy this day sightseeing at Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 15:Leisure day in Pokhara

You can rest or enjoy sightseeing at Pokhara.

Day 16:Drive to Kathmandu

From Pokhara we drive to Kathmandu. It takes 7 hours to reach Kathmandu.

Day 17:Final Departure
